Senior Vice President, Advanced Analytics, Magellan Rx Management
Lori Bymark serves as the senior vice president of advanced analytics and business intelligence for Magellan Rx Management. She is responsible for redefining customers’ analytics experience through a centralized and comprehensive advanced analytics strategy to enable the delivery of powerful, richly visualized analytics.
Bymark joined Magellan from PartnersRx in 2006, where her responsibilities included operations, account management, clinical, analytic and information system functions. As the senior vice president of operations, she played a key role in the development of innovative features, ensuring flexibility in response to a continually evolving marketplace. Key projects that directly impacted the company’s success included strategic planning, development and implementation of a new eligibility management system, redesign of the analytic support tools, restructuring of account management services and negotiating vendor relationships.
Prior to joining PartnersRx, Bymark spent more than 20 years in healthcare management, where she built a diverse portfolio of experience across pharmacy benefit management, pharmaceutical manufacturing, health plan administration, and healthcare service technology. Prior roles included vice president of marketing and clinical services at MedVantx, Inc. and vice president of product management and development and vice president of clinical services at PCS Health Systems (now CVS/Caremark). Prior to her time at PCS, Bymark spent almost ten years with Eli Lilly and Company in a wide variety of functional roles.
Bymark’s senior leadership responsibilities have spanned multi-functional disciplines, including strategic planning, marketing, advanced analytics, clinical services, account management, sales and human resources – all of which have led her to being an industry expert on innovative pharmacy benefit management. Bymark earned her master’s degree in industrial administration with honors from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Gustavus Adolphus College.
