In partnership with CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Magellan strives to support our team members in living healthy and achieving overall wellness by offering a range of health and wellness programs and services.
- CDHP with HRF - A consumer-driven health plan with a generous health care reimbursement fund (HRF). Preventive care is covered at 100% in-network and the deductible is waived.
- High Deductible with HSA - A consumer-driven health plan that offers a tax-advantaged health savings account (HSA) for expenses not covered by the plan. Preventive care is covered at 100% in-network and the deductible is waived.
- Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) - A traditional plan that offers 80% coverage in-network and 60% coverage out-of-network.
- Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) - An in-network only plan that offers 90% coverage.
- MetLife PPO Dental Plan - Members can use their provider of choice; however, receive a greater benefit by seeing an in-network dentist.
- MetLife Co-pay Dental Plan - An in-network only plan that uses fee schedules based on geographic service area.
- Vision Care Programs through VSP - Offers a wide range of professional vision care benefits and services with in- and out-of-network benefits.
- Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Services through Magellan LifeResources- In-patient, alternative care and outpatient services for behavioral health and substance abuse treatment.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Brief therapeutic counseling sessions for assessment, consultation and/or referral for treatment of personal challenges including emotional, family and drug/alcohol-related issues.
