For 2012, we updated the Magellan National Provider Handbook, supplements for organization (i.e., facility) and EAP providers, as well as supplements pertaining to serving members for specific plans and states.
Magellan's national medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program seeks to increase the use of medications in treatment of substance use disorders where clinically appropriate, monitors the number of cases in which physicians are prescribing medications and measures member readmission rates.
